• Lightstaff ver1.0

  This is a simple but rather a nice modification. Though this is the only basic edition, it clearly shows how real lightstaff looks like. Choose the saber and it will automatically turns it into a lightstaff. Do not expect it to be bugless in this version. Multiplayer unsupported.

Technical Notes

1. To run the patch...

To run add-on patches, the best option is to get Patch Commander at http://www.jediknight.net/commander/. In order to use this utilty please refer documents included along with the program.

The other option is to use the "path" interface within JK/MotS. To do so, simply create a directory named "patch" (no quote) under JK/MotS installed directory. Then place the gob/goo file that you wish to use into the folder. There are various ways to execute the command but the easiest way is to go to "Run" in "start" of Windows. There refer the file, jk.exe/jkm.exe and add the next line after placing a space. "-path patch"(no quote). The directory name can be anything as long as it's synchronized with the path command line.

ex. "c:\program files\lucasarts\Jedi Knight\jk.exe" -path patch

2. Other notes

1. Mutli player games are not supported.

2. I'm not responsible for anything that happens to your computer.

1. My modification works only with the retail version of the Software, and does not work with any demo or OEM versions of the Software.

2. My modification does not modify any COM, EXE, DLL or other executable files.

My modification does not contain any illegal, scandalous, illicit, defamatory, libelous, or objectionable material (as may be determined by LEC in its sole discretion), or any material that infringes any trademarks, copyrights, protected works, publicity, proprietary, or other rights of any third party or of LEC.

4. My modification does not include any LEC sound effects or music files or portions thereof.

5. My modification identifies in every description file, on- line description, read-me, and in comments in the New modification code: (a) the name, address, and e-mail address of the modification's creators, and (b) the following disclaimer: "THIS LEVEL IS NOT MADE, DISTRIBUTED, OR SUPPORTED BY LUCASARTS ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY. ELEMENTS TM & (C) LUCASARTS ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY."

6. My modification may not be sold, bartered, or distributed with any other product for which any charge is made (other than incidental charges for time spent on-line), but rather must be distributed free of charge.
